Next Generation Materials

Our masks are woven with nanospun filter fiber. This state of the art material has the capabilities of stopping up to 99% of airborne particles, blocking virtually all airborne viruses.

Fibers are produced at a weight of 1 gram/square meter for a 99+% filtration level — compared to regular meltblown fabric, which would have up to 28-30 grams/square meter and 95+% filtration at best. This gives our masks unique lightness and amazing breathability compared to what exists on the market currently.

Our face masks and medical liens and gowns can be applied with BioArmour® Fabric Spray. Using our unique antimicrobial spray treatment, we create a continuous barrier of protection against bacteria and viruses. A face mask applied with BioArmour® will actually kill germs passing in the mask and out of the mask, significantly improving the effectiveness of a normal mask. There have been no adverse effects reported on people, plants or animals from exposure to BioArmour®, and it is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency for skin contact applications.

Biodegradable Technology

Our polyester polymer has a lower melting point compared to the vast majority of our competitors products (by itself it’s biodegradable). We have combined a melt polyester/PLA blend to optimize biodegradability and performance of the polymer.

The graph to the right shows the compostability properties of our technology compared to other conventional products.
